Regia Marinho

Contemporary Abstract Expressionist • Digital Innovator • Visual Storyteller

Welcome to the digital home of Regia Marinho. Operating under the banner of RegiaArt, my work is an energetic exploration of the human psyche, capturing the delicate and thrilling balance between chaotic harmony and structured design.

My creative philosophy is simple yet profound: different is better than better. Rather than chasing conventional standards, my canvases seek to break new ground through a distinct visual language that merges traditional fine art with modern digital expression.

🎨 Artistic Philosophy & Style

Drawing deep inspiration from the spontaneous spirit of classic European avant-garde masters like Joan Miró and the raw, emotional weight of neo-expressionism, my work is anchored by two signature elements:

• Biomorphic Calligraphy: Heavy, fluid black ink contours that twist, loop, and map out the kinetic movements of a hyperactive mind.

• Vibrant Chromatic Fields: Bold, high-contrast color blocks that trap and amplify emotion beneath the linework, mimicking the unpredictable rhythm of a live jazz performance.

Whether working with physical acrylics and oil pastels on large-scale stretched canvas or sculpting vectors in the digital realm, each piece serves as a playground for raw intuition and color theory.

✍️ Art, Words & Animation

For me, a painting is only the beginning of the conversation. I view art as a continuous means of self-enlightenment and intellectual inquiry. This passion flows directly into my writing on Medium, where I break down the deep, conceptual stories behind every canvas, exploring how visual art interacts with music, philosophy, and human design.

In addition to static physical works, I breathe new life into my paintings through custom digital animations—transforming static brushstrokes into circular motions and living, breathing loops that invite viewers to experience abstract art in the fourth dimension.
